Collection: Project Constellation

Project Constellation is an art-concept product line that is channeled through the Zodiac, focusing around polar opposites: the physical/tangible vs the intangible, the new vs the ancient, dark vs light, the possible vs impossible, the consumable vs the unbelievable.

Taking cues from minimalism juxtaposed over elements of pop art, this style is inspired by sort of an inverted Andy Warhol-esque design theory - fixating almost exclusively in black and white vs bright neon colors. The style's core philosophy bleeds into it's design focus: sharp edges, bold contrast, only polygons appearing in high quality, monochrome colors while more complex imagery is blurry/jarring. These elements combined evoke a sense of decisiveness and sureness on one angle, where everything is placed exactly where it's meant to be like machinery. From another angle, that design theory is constrasted entirely - the subject matter is cut off, not fully visible, protrudes across other elements. The elements combined bring this harmony, this oneness that insinuates that chaos and order are meant to exist together. It's an art style, a thought experiment, & a retail experiment all in one.
